Return & Refund Policy

7-Day Return Policy (Clothing & Non-Perishable Items)

We have a 7-day return policy for clothes and non-perishable items. This means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be in the same condition you received it — unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
  • You’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at orders@newenglandthings.com. Upon contact, we will provide the appropriate warehouse address for your return.

Once your return is accepted, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without requesting a return first will not be accepted.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so we can resolve the issue promptly.


Grocery & Perishable Items

For grocery items, we are unable to accept returns due to food safety reasons. However, if there is any issue with the product or delivery, you can contact us and we will refund your money.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Personal care items (beauty products)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Sale items or gift cards

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return your item and, once accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union – 14 Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason, without justification. As above, the item must be unworn or unused, with tags, in its original packaging, and you’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved.

  • If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card to process and post the refund.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, contact us at orders@newenglandthings.com.
